Account and sign-in help
Check that you are using the email address invited by your organisation and the latest version of the app. If a password reset or invitation has expired, request a fresh one. Organisation leaders manage membership and role access; Givelitics Support can help diagnose a technical account issue but will not grant an organisation role without authorisation.
Never email your password, one-time code, full card number or card security code. Givelitics Support will not ask for them.
App, media and notification help
Before contacting support, try these steps:
- Confirm that your device has a working internet connection.
- Update Givelitics and your device operating system.
- Close and reopen the app, then pull down to refresh the affected screen.
- For notifications, check both Givelitics notification preferences and the device's system notification settings.
- For external media, confirm your browser can open secure HTTPS links and that the media provider is available in your region.
Giving and Gift Aid
Mobile Giving is in Stripe test mode as at the effective date. Test transactions do not move money and are not real donations. Do not use them as receipts or for Gift Aid.
For questions about a donation, refund, fund or Gift Aid declaration, contact the participating church or charity because it owns those records and decisions. For a technical checkout error, send Givelitics Support the approximate time, organisation name and any non-sensitive on-screen error. Do not send card details.
Contacting support
Email support@givelitics.com with:
- the email address on your Givelitics account;
- the name of your church or charity;
- your device type and app version, if known;
- what you expected, what happened and when it happened; and
- a screenshot with private or sensitive information removed, if useful.
We may need to verify your identity and organisation before discussing account information or changing access. Response time depends on the nature and complexity of the request.
Privacy, data and deletion requests
Your church or charity is usually the best first contact for membership, donor, directory, prayer, group, volunteering and safeguarding records. For Givelitics-controlled information, or if you are unsure, email support and describe the right you want to exercise.
Account deletion is available through the mobile app and has a 30-day grace period. The account deletion page explains the steps, email fallback and records that may need to be retained.
Security and safety
If you believe an account or organisation has been compromised, email support promptly with the subject “Security issue”. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary sensitive information.
Givelitics is not an emergency, pastoral crisis or safeguarding reporting service. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services. Follow your organisation's safeguarding process and contact its designated safeguarding lead for safeguarding concerns.
Accessibility
If a feature or document is difficult to use with assistive technology, email support and tell us the device, browser or assistive technology involved and the task you were trying to complete. We will work with you on an accessible way to get help and use the service.
